Founding General Assembly: Long live the Association!

On October 11th, 2026, the Sapphic Community Organization held its founding general assembly with forty members present. Members confirmed the aims and the values of the organization. They elected a Board of Directors, voted on the membership fee and discussed the budget and created committees making it possible for all members to get involved.

The Sappho Community Centre aims to be a welcoming, accessible, and safer space for women and gender-diverse people who live in or visit Eressos.

By welcoming, we mean that we aim to make all women and gender diverse people, regardless of ability, sexuality, race, origin, language, age, education, or class feel that the Sappho Community Centre belongs to them.
